What services do you provide?

When it comes to evaluating business ideas, I get so excited about discussing an idea’s potential that my voice often quivers! Through Start Business Partnerships (SBP), I’m able to help entrepreneurs figure out if they’re on the right track. Specifically, I review your website, your business, your product line, your marketing plan, the viability of your business, and much more. The review is video recorded and provided to you digitally. You also get a 10 – 30 phone consultation with me, in which I review the recommendations and answer any questions that you might have about how to improve your business.

Lastly, if you and I develop a good rapport and I sense that you have a strong potential for success, I might also be interested in offering myself to you as a joint business partners and mentor.

What qualifies you to guide me as a business “expert?”

I started on my road to entrepreneurship when I was 20 years old. I’ve had multiple partnerships and entrepreneurial ventures. I successfully launched a nonprofit organization in India at the age of 27, which recruited people from all over the world to volunteer over one month of their time in the slums of India while they paid thousands of dollars to have the opportunity. It’s a non-profit organization run with a for-profit model, and the success it had was just amazing.
In 2011 I launched a new online business which has done extremely well. After just 14 months, there was even a 72 hour period in which the website generated more than $40,000 in gross revenue for my partner and I during our first product launch. I’ve approached learning about online business and marketing with a passion and the results have spoken for themselves. The business continues to grow exponentially and is on target to generate hundreds of thousands of dollars per year in the next few years. I’m even in contact with some of the world’s leaders in online business and was featured on Internet Business Mastery for an entire podcast.

What value will you offer to me and my business?

Regarding concrete and quickly understandable value, simply watching me evaluate your business will teach you a great deal. You’ll see how I think about online business as a whole, and you’ll understand on a high-level how to proceed in your own business to make it a true success. You’ll also see me using tools that are invaluable during the video-recorded review sessions (some of which might be paid resources that I’ve acquired for my own businesses). Some can help you with research, others can help with efficiency, outsourcing, streamlining your systems and automating some of the most laborious aspects of being a business owner.
Also, all the tools that I have at my disposal (paid and unpaid) will be used to improve your business if we ever decide to partner together. I have access to a vast knowledge of website creation tools, plug-ins and marketing strategies. I also have access to leading entrepreneurs in the world of online business and thousands of dollars of other resources and educational materials that can help me guide you to the success you want.Lastly, through my own experiences of learning through mentors, such as Internet Business Mastery, it’s become clear that working with successful mentors is the fastest way to jumpstart your business and demolish obstacles. If you’ve been working hard and not seeing the results you want, I can guarantee you that this is a great time to take the plunge.

Can I trust you?

The short answer is “yes.” I’m a pediatrician, I’ve started a nonprofit organization which aims to improve the lives of thousands of sweatshop laborers and children living in the slums of India, I’ve donated over $70,000 to the nonprofit organization, and if we ever choose to partner together, you’ll have access to some of my closest friends and colleagues to ask plenty of questions about me before we solidify a partnership.

How can I partner with you?

The first step is to take part in one of my consulting packages so that we can get to know each other better, and so that you can decide whether or not you even want (or need) a partner. I’ll provide you with honest feedback and constructive criticism about what is working, and what is not working within your business. I’ll also give you solid recommendations on what you can do to move your business forward. Whether or not I offer myself in partnership to you will depend on several factors, including my interest in your particular business, the value that I can add to your business, and several other key indicators as to the potential for a successful business partnership.

If we decide to partner together, what role will you serve in my business?

To a large extent, it depends on what the needs are of your organization, but in general I am extremely detail oriented and enjoy constructing a framework that allows you to be successful. This means that I am able to put together the technological pieces needed within your web website and marketing strategies to allow you to focus on simply doing things that you enjoy. My longterm goal would be to eventually assume the role of a mentor and problem solver once all of our systems are in place, you have developed a strong track record of success and the business is consistently growing.

How much equity will you expect to take from my business?

This completely depends on what you’ve been able to accomplish in your business so far, and what skill set you have. The less guidance and assistance you need, the less I would as for in terms of equity stake. For example, if you have a phenomenal Idea but have laid very little groundwork, obviously my involvement and equity would need to be much greater.
I can’t imagine taking less than 20% or more than 50%.

How do I know that you were not going to steal my idea?

While it may sound a little blunt, no matter how many people you tell your idea to, it’s probable that nobody will try to steal your idea. It simply takes too much time, energy, financial investment, risk and passion to make a business successful.

Also, I have absolutely no interest in starting any more businesses on my own. For me, being a “solo-preneur” has been an amazing learning experience, but has also been exhausting at times. It’s so much more fun to be part of partnerships. I enjoy working with entrepreneurs to help them reach their dreams, and I think it’s just in my nature to help and educate people. That’s why I started Start Business Partnerships. Through this venture, I hope to make several people very successful, and also develop some longtime friendships.

Are there affiliate links on your site?

Can I simply submit an application for partnership consideration?

No. I value my time at $150 – $200 per hour and it’s too difficult for me to review applications for free. Also, there’s something to be said for “having skin in the game.” Much of your success will hinge on whether or not you are able to take calculated and educated risks by invest your time, energy and money into tools and resources that can help you. If you’re not ready for one of the underpriced options presented on the Start Business Partnerships’ consulting page, you’re probably also not prepared to jump into a partnership.
